How parasite infections affect host disease dynamics. Investigation of competition between parasites within hosts, using a mixture of lab work, fieldwork and modeling.

Parasites of bats in Puerto Rico: Greater Antillean Ghost faced bat (Mormoops blainvilli); Sooty Mustached Bat (Pteronotus quadridens); Greater Antillean Long-tongued Bat (Monophyllus redmani)

Intestinal nematodes (Strongyloides robustus) in flying squirels in the U.S.A. (Glaucomys sabrinus and G. volans)

Intestinal nematodes (Ascaris suum) in domestic pigs (Sus scrofa domesticus)
